About a boy:
I do not believe having a job means you have fulfilled your purpose in life. People were not born to work. I see this from two points of views; I understand that some love to work and to many people, to have found their dream job and doing what they love fulfills their life. That makes them content and happy. On the other hand, I know so many that HATE their job and the place where they work. They feel absolutely miserable which makes them depressed. No one should feel like their life is a routine, every one deserves to enjoy their lives to the fullest.
Harvey MacKay once said "find something you love to do, and you'll never have to work another day in your life." I really do agree with that quote. I feel like everything now a days is about the money and people are too worried about getting rich than doing what they love and enjoy. We all have to start somewhere to reach the top, if you never give your dreams a chance then how will you ever know how far you could have made it?
I also believe that with hard work comes a great amount of success, not everyone gets everything handed to them. Generations are changing and we are losing the value to a lot of things. What happens when we lose the value of working hard? People need to set their minds and work hard for what they are passionate about because the feeling of accomplishment they receive at the end will be abundant.

Children's story feedback for friends
Childrens' Story Draft
1)Ruffles was a small puppy, much smaller than the rest of his siblings.
Ruffles loved to play, run, jump and lick, though some things were hard for Ruffle to do.
2)What Ruffles loved most was adventures with his best friend Tommy.
Tommy and Ruffles took the same walk down to the river near Tommy's house.
3)Ruffles followed everything Tommy did.
4)Tommy would jump every crack in the sidewalk, and so would Ruffles.
5)Ruffles would huff, puffy, wiggle and jiggle. But eventually, he would do it.
6)Tommy would roll down down the hill until he reached the bottom.
7)Ruffles would muffle, tuffle, tuck and bounce. But eventually he would do it.
8)Tommy would rustle through the leaves and frollic through the grass.
9)Ruffles would trip, shuffle, boop and bop. But eventually, he would do it.
10)Something about today was different however.
The stones that crossed the narrow river where Tommy and Ruffles would pass through had been moved far far apart.
11)Tommy skipped across the stones with ease, but Ruffles had a much harder time.
"Come on Ruffles, I know you can do it! Just put a little wiggle into it!" Tommy cheered at Ruffles.
12)Ruffles weebled and wobbled on the stones, his paws slipping into the water. He grunted and growled and leaped with all his might.
13)"HORRAYY RUFFLES" Tommy exclaimed! The two friends jittered with with excitement.
14)Though ruffles was small and things were hard for him, he could do everything anyone else could do. It just took a little work.
For the illustrations I am wanting to show Tommy the boy and Ruffles the puppy playing and running and Ruffles flopping around.
The giraffe who was too tall
.
On the first day of kindergarten all the animals arrived at school.
Their new teacher Mrs. Lamb welcomes them into her classroom.
But Grace the giraffe is too tall to get into the room!
"Oh no", says Grace. "What should I do?"
Mrs. Lamb comes out and shows Grace how to duck into the classroom.
Next the class goes out to recess and all the children start going down the slide.
But Grace the giraffe is too tall to play on the slide!
"Oh no", says Grace. "What should I do?"
Mrs. Lamb comes over and states "You're too tall for the slide Grace, maybe try hopscotch!"

Book for kids
Rudas Niño's Horrendous Hermanitas is a book by Yuyi Morales. The author's bio is in the back of the book and it states she has won numerous award and divides her time between Mexico and the United States of America. The cover displayed above and it shows three children with a very colorful background. The book is only eighteen pages long and there are three main characters plus all the monsters. The setting is mostly outside with all the monsters. A summery would be: The three sibilings fight against all the different monsters that try to attack. The older brother gets captured by the Aliens and their little trio is destroyed so the sisters are heart broken and cry like crazy. At the end their brother breaks free and returns to them.
No it does not have animals as characters
No rhyme
It sorta teaches a lesson

Yes there is an adult (the mom)

"Guacatelas" was my phrase in the book because it's a funny word.
It would be appropriate for 3-5 year olds because it's about wrestling.
Yes I would have this book as a kid because it's bilingual which I had many book similar to it.

Inspired by Edward Hopper:
He was alone at the gas station waiting for customers to arrive, its been a rather slow day for the business. The sun is setting faster than normally, something doesn't feel right to him. Off in the distance he heard some rustling sounds coming from the woods behind him, it catches him off guard because its always so peaceful out there. Suddenly he hears a women's voice screaming out for help. He is unsure on what he should do, he does not want to leave the gas station unattended in case anyone shows up. He decides to lock the door to the gas station and take the keys along with a gun and a flash light with him. He left a note on the door in case anyone shows up and wrote if he never shows up to call 911.
He started off cautiously walking in the direction of the screams, as he got closer and closer he started to hear a second voice. The man kept yelling at her to shut up or he was going to kill her right then and there. Without even thinking about it the gas station owner shot at the other man. He was still in shock how a person could do so much harm to others.

Window Poem:
Out my kitchen window, I see a forest behind my backyard filled with animals, mostly deer and occasionally coyotes.
To my left is my living room, but today there are no animals, gradually they all stopped coming near the woods behind my house. I question myself whether it was the dogs that scared them off or if it was because they started building more houses in that area.
I always stop by and look out that window to see if I see any critters roaming around in the woods.
I still see endless trees and a huge field, to this day I still want to explore the other side of the fence.
Spring is the time you would see all the animals emerge from hibernation.
Off in the distance I see more trees and hay rolls that seem to never move.

My Favorites from M.C. Escher
He deeply stares at his own reflection through the small stainless steel ball questioning himself if he is content with his life. He has everything he could ever want but still can not reach happiness. He feels extremely lonely and empty on the inside but does not know what is missing.
One day walking home from his office, a little puppy started following him all the way there. He was a very well trained but did not have any tags or anything on him. Everyday the puppy followed him home and they started to bond. The puppy had found a home and he had filled the man's heart with happiness.
The group of girls walked in to the loud store, everything was so cool and filled with color. There was tapestry hanging on each wall but one really caught her eye. It had two chameleons in a geometric shape in space, she thought about how good it would look in her room. Her friends said it was weird but she fell in love with it. It was on the pricier side but when she finally put it up in her room it looked so great.

Artist Profile: M.C. Escher
Maurits Cornelis Escher was born June 17, 1898 in Leeuwarden, Netherlands. M.C.'s father was a civil engineer named George Arnold Escher and his mother was Sara Gleichman. Growing up he was not the best at school, he didn't get good grades and even failed second grade. M.C. still continued with school and went on to the technical college of Delft, after that he went to Harlem school of architecture and decorative arts where he became a graphic artist. He moved to Italy where he met wife Jetta Umiker, but had to relocate because of World War II. There where a lot of huge events that happened in his life time such as The Spanish American War, southern state passed laws to not franchise blacks, the wright brothers had their first flight and McKinley was assassinated.
M.C. Escher worked with wood engravings, drawing, sketches and more different mediums. He was associated with Modern Art. His most famous works are Relativity, Waterfall, and Drawing Hands but personally my all time favorite is Stars which is two chameleons in a polyhedral cage with starts in the background. I was just really drawn to it, another one I really liked was called Hands with reflecting sphere the title describes it but its really cool.

Writers as Readers:
13. I have considered writing a book about my life. So many interesting things have happened and I feel like people would enjoy reading about my experiences and what I've gone through so far. The people I know, my family and their back stories, all the Mexican parties, working from a young age, owning a restaurant, my accomplishments and more. I would like for it to start off from my dad and moms points of view then mine. The about me would not be that important considering the whole book would be about my life.
12. I love to read but I don't think I am a strong writer. I'm a creative person when I want with my writing but I have to put more effort in to it than other artistic things. I absolutely love to read though, except school books, anything but that. Im very blunt when it comes to writing for school most of the time. I agree that we pick up vocabulary from others whether its vocal or visual.
9. When I finished The Program, I was sad because everything that happens in the book is heart breaking. I literally cried so much reading that book. I loved it but not the whole bawling part. It really triggers your emotions to another level well at least mine. It just made me reminisce on old memories with friends and even though I don't relate to the suicide part (no one close to me has ever died) it was still a good time. I wish I could go back and relive some days but Im happy where I am in life.
8. My favorite book series is The Selection series which normally I don't like reading super girly books, but I enjoyed reading that whole series. Some parts are predictable but most aren't.
5. Yes I do pick up books and get excited to read the next page, with books like that I will literally not do anything till I finish reading it. When I was younger I would get grounded from reading because I would get obsessed until I read the whole thing.

Memorable Passage
“You should never hate anyone, not even your worst enemies. Everyone has something good about them. You had to find the redeeming quality and love the person for that.” -The Glass Castle
“You should never hate anyone, not even your worst enemies. Everyone has something good about them. You had to find the redeeming quality and love the person for that.” -The Glass Castle
My parents raised me the same way, to not have hate in your heart because all it does is damage you, no one else. I agree that someone has at least something good about them but only to an extent because there are awful people out in the world who live off doing a lot of harm to others. It goes both ways in my opinion.

The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. And that’s what you’ve given me. That’s what I’d hoped to give you forever.” – Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook
My two great loves. One taught me to be ready to face life. The other taught me to face life without being ready. Now together they’re teaching me to face life without them. - Instructions not included

Dan in Real Life questions
2. Three tips I can give to Parents of teenagers are:
First of all, to not be so controlling, we need freedom to do our own stuff. When it comes down to real life we are so sheltered from so much stuff that some react really badly when they are finally on their own. It just goes down hill from there.
Second is to let them become their own individual, if they like a certain style or hobby don´t hate on it all the time, let them be themselves, they have different interest than you and that is perfectly fine. My dad struggled a lot when I told him sports just are not for me.
Third is to be there for them and care, even if you don´t understand them, try and put yourself in their shoes instead of being rude and blowing it off. Communication is key, remember that.
4. Parents have to be fair, fair treatment with all their kids, no favoritism and fair with their actions. It´s really hypocritical when they tell you to not do something and they do it, that makes me really mad. So the ¨do as I say, not as I do¨ really makes no sense because we learn from what they do. Also my parents got married after only knowing each other for a year and I have been with my boyfriend for two years and they limit us on EVERYTHING. It goes back to the three tips, give your kids some freedom to go out with friends and have fun and not just be so strict with everything.
7. I truly don´t think you can fall in love in three days, freshman year I made the mistake of dating someone after only knowing him three days but I was not in love. We dated for a year and it was fun but not worth my time. You don't even really know them in three days, and of course everything is going to be all sweet at first but it doesn't stay like that. Relationships are difficult, there are many arguments, and its not easy. I feel as you do learn a lot from previous relationships, you make mistakes and the outcome reminds you to not do that in the future.
23. Many of my friends have gone after my ex boyfriends, I'm not sure why I have that luck, but I think its pretty funny how the tables turn. They go from taking pictures of you two together to wanting to be with them. It depends on the situation and what had happened before when I decide to cut people like that out of my life. In one situation, my first boyfriend cheated on me with one of my close friends, I obviously wasn't friends with her or with him after that. Till this day, THREE YEARS after we broke up he still tries to talk to me which I find hysterical. Boys can be extremely dumb. In a different situation, I was not dating this guy yet and I cut things off with him after two weeks but now hes talking to one of my best friends. I was mad at her at first but then I let it go because I was the one that ended that relationship with him and he was definitely not the guy for me. He might be for her though, so if they are happy and I'm happy with my relationship, everything is fine. I still think that is against girl code and real friends wouldn't do that.

1. I don't really have a favorite movie, I have favorite genres but I can't really just choose a single movie. I have endless amount of favorites, but I normally watch scary movies, suspense, kid movies, action, comedy, and sometimes romantic movies. I love urban movies like Stomp the Yard, A.T.L., Honey, and Step Up. The list goes on and on it truly never ends, but I sure so love spending my time watching them.
2. Movies I don't usually care for are super old movies, I do enjoy watching some but others are pretty bad. I can not watch gory movies, such as Saw, human centipede and stuff like that, I will literally vomit. Those movies just disgust me. I'm also not a fan of anime movies its just not my thing. I tend to stay away from extremely cheesy movies, they are just boring to me.
3. I watch movies at least once a week if i have spare time, but sometimes I will binge watch movies and spend a whole free day doing so. That's like my family's thing, just watching movies all day with some hot chocolate and snacks. We rarely spend time together because we are a busy bunch but its nice when finally have time to relax and be united.
4. I enjoy watching movies by myself and with others, it does not really make a difference to me. Either way I'm still going to enjoy the movie. It can be at my house or at the movie theater its whatever to me. Netflix movies, red box movies, or movies that just came out I like them all.
5. My test results said I am 92% Extraverted which means I am very outgoing, active and high spirited, that I prefer to be around people which is true. Also, I am 75% Agreeable which means I am warm, trusting and agreeable. At the end it concluded that I am 100% open to new experiences which is spot on, I want to live my life to the fullest and experience so much from our world.
6. Diane Guerrero would definitely play my part if my life was made into a movie. It would be really cool to write a book about my life and then become a movie, its definitely very interesting. When I finally have time, I want to read the book about Diane's life. It amazes me to think about how different everyone's' life is. No one lives the same day, and we all go through different hardships that makes us who we are. Others have worse struggles than some but we all go through life, I just find some peoples life stories really intriguing.

Animal cruelty needs to come to an end. Our wild life population keeps decreasing each year because we are mistreating these beautiful creations. Elephants have been abused, hurt, and being murdered for their tusk. As well as gorillas, lions, giraffes, the list is neverending. Rhinos are going extinct, extinction is on a whole different level, humans are honestly at fault for nature having so many problems. Instead of helping and nurturing the animals we kill them.
It makes me extremely sad that we are so cruel to the world. Instead of making it better, we are making it worse. We are tearing down forest to make hotels, recycling isn't popular anymore, people litter like crazy, the amount of horrendous things we do is abundant. We will honestly be the cause of nature’s downfall. We seriously need to educate the youth about the importance it is to help the world and take care of it. We shouldn’t be a careless society, we need to care about animals and our earth.
We need to figure out a way to help, if we inspire others to do good, it will impact them and it will spread around the globe. Even if its something as simple as using your own recyclable bag instead of plastic, or buying a water filter instead of buying so many plastic bottles that make their way to the ocean. We don’t just hurt land animals but also ocean life. I wish we had a leader to impact others to make this movement.
Something beautiful is this flower, I love this picture I photographed, something so simple can be so pretty. A rose or sunflower could make anyone´s day. I took this Valentine´s day before I got slammed at work. Its the thought that counts, truly. I´d rather have a flower and hand written note then a super expensive gift.
My parents have taught me so much in life. The have taught me good morals and how to be humble. Also manners and how to treat people with respect. As well as good values, how to save money, how to tip, and how to give back to others. There will never be an end to the things they teach me. We argue about irrelevant stuff sometimes but I´m glad I have such a good bond with my parents.
I personally like my cursive handwriting better than print. I´m glad they are going to start reteaching it in elementary. To me it just looks so classy and pretty. I definitely enjoy writing by hand more than typing. I feel as a handwritten note or letter has so much more meaning than just a test or email.

Flying away from my parents is a scary thing.
Starting college is a whole new chapter of my life, I'm not sure if they are ready for it.
I feel as if they might get depressed from the oldest leaving their nest.
No more free babysitter or a friend to always have by their side.
I can't wait for the freedom I will have but it requires different kind of responsibilities.

DREAM THREAD
We talked restlessly until the sun rises over the trees.
Last night was full of laughter while my cousins and I reminisced over our past memories together.
We all sat on the roof of the garage after the big family party and enjoyed our moments together.
Even though we never spend much time together, its always so perfect when we are all united.
Being the same blood and seeing the struggles we have all gone through, we honestly have a bond that can never be broken. Primas Hermanas, that is what we will always be, not just cousins, or sisters, but friends who will always be there for each other when someone needs a shoulder to lean on.
As we grow older, we drift apart while we create our own lives, but we know it will always be family over everything. Two primas finishing their careers, one just starting college, one graduating, and two still in high school, our little group is growing up but we will always be little girls who love each other endlessly.
I will forever cherish my huge family on my mom's side.
As our talks went on, There was a slight chill in the air that Chicago morning and we finally decided to go inside and get some sleep.

Haven
Innocent kids killed
and people seeking safety.
Wondering where´s the love.
Melancholy
Sadness without cause.
Unhappiness filling souls.
Help society.
1st boyfriend
He had big green eyes,
fun and tall but a cheater
The truth is better.
Red wine
Extremely loud conversations
Dressed up people
Dining,
Eating the finest meals
Listening to Frank Sinatra
Inside a dimly lit restaurant.
Crepes and Chardonnay
Italian food is
Outstanding.
Unique hand made creations for
Super enjoyable late nights
Tired brown hands and
Inspired souls.
Exhaustion filling their bodies but
Remembering their family´s need
Rechazados por muchos pero
Aun con la frente en alto.
Barbacoa y tortillas de harina
Recien hechas a mano esperando en casa.
Overtime and late nights
Working for a better life.
Nunca dejes de sonar.
