About a boy:
I do not believe having a job means you have fulfilled your purpose in life. People were not born to work. I see this from two points of views; I understand that some love to work and to many people, to have found their dream job and doing what they love fulfills their life. That makes them content and happy. On the other hand, I know so many that HATE their job and the place where they work. They feel absolutely miserable which makes them depressed.  No one should feel like their life is a routine, every one deserves to enjoy their lives to the fullest.
Harvey MacKay once said "find something you love to do, and you'll never have to work another day in your life." I really do agree with that quote. I feel like everything now a days is about the money and people are too worried about getting rich than doing what they love and enjoy. We all have to start somewhere to reach the top, if you never give your dreams a chance then how will you ever know how far you could have made it?
I also believe that with hard work comes a great amount of success, not everyone gets everything handed to them. Generations are changing and we are losing the value to a lot of things. What happens when we lose the value of working hard? People need to set their minds and work hard for what they are passionate about because the feeling of accomplishment they receive at the end will be abundant.

Children's story feedback for friends

Childrens' Story Draft

1)Ruffles was a small puppy, much smaller than the rest of his siblings.
Ruffles loved to play, run, jump and lick, though some things were hard for Ruffle to do.
2)What Ruffles loved most was adventures with his best friend Tommy.
Tommy and Ruffles took the same walk down to the river near Tommy's house.
3)Ruffles followed everything Tommy did.
4)Tommy would jump every crack in the sidewalk, and so would Ruffles.
5)Ruffles would huff, puffy, wiggle and jiggle. But eventually, he would do it.
6)Tommy would roll down down the hill until he reached the bottom.
7)Ruffles would muffle, tuffle, tuck and bounce. But eventually he would do it.
8)Tommy would rustle through the leaves and frollic through the grass.
9)Ruffles would trip, shuffle, boop and bop. But eventually, he would do it.
10)Something about today was different however.
The stones that crossed the narrow river where Tommy and Ruffles would pass through had been moved far far apart.
11)Tommy skipped across the stones with ease, but Ruffles had a much harder time.
"Come on Ruffles, I know you can do it! Just put a little wiggle into it!" Tommy cheered at Ruffles.
12)Ruffles weebled and wobbled on the stones, his paws slipping into the water. He grunted and growled and leaped with all his might.
13)"HORRAYY RUFFLES" Tommy exclaimed! The two friends jittered with with excitement.
14)Though ruffles was small and things were hard for him, he could do everything anyone else could do. It just took a little work.

For the illustrations I am wanting to show Tommy the boy and Ruffles the puppy playing and running and Ruffles flopping around.

The giraffe who was too tall
.
On the first day of kindergarten all the animals arrived at school.
Their new teacher Mrs. Lamb welcomes them into her classroom.
But Grace the giraffe is too tall to get into the room!
"Oh no", says Grace. "What should I do?"
Mrs. Lamb comes out and shows Grace how to duck into the classroom.

Next the class goes out to recess and all the children start going down the slide.
But Grace the giraffe is too tall to play on the slide!
"Oh no", says Grace. "What should I do?"
Mrs. Lamb comes over and states "You're too tall for the slide Grace, maybe try hopscotch!"

Rudas Niño's Horrendous Hermanitas is a book by Yuyi Morales. The author's bio is in the back of the book and it states she has won numerous award and divides her time between Mexico and the United States of America. The cover displayed above and it shows three children with a very colorful background. The book is only eighteen pages long and there are three main characters plus all the monsters. The setting is mostly outside with all the monsters. A summery would be: The three sibilings fight against all the different monsters that try to attack. Inspired by Edward Hopper:

He was alone at the gas station waiting for customers to arrive, its been a rather slow day for the business. The sun is setting faster than normally, something doesn't feel right to him. Off in the distance he heard some rustling sounds coming from the woods behind him, it catches him off guard because its always so peaceful out there.  Suddenly he hears a women's voice screaming out for help. He is unsure on what he should do, he does not want to leave the gas station unattended in case anyone shows up. He decides to lock the door to the gas station and take the keys along with a gun and a flash light with him. He left a note on the door in case anyone shows up and wrote if he never shows up to call 911.
He started off cautiously walking in the direction of the screams, as he got closer and closer he started to hear a second voice. The man kept yelling at her to shut up or he was going to kill her right then and there. Without even thinking about it the gas station owner shot at the other man. He was still in shock how a person could do so much harm to others.
